Why we walk
We are walking to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). 2Steppers captain, Irene Unger, has been living with MS for more than half of her life. Diagnosed at 22, MS became part of her world when she was still in graduate school. MS is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. MS disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Irene, and others fighting MS are put to the test year after year.
